PLANE CRASH AT COUNTY AIRPORT

UP TO 4 BELIEVED DEAD AT SCENE
DEVELOPING
A medium size plane has crashed at the Lorain County Regional Airport this afternoon and officials say there are no survivors.

Firefighters from Oberlin, Carlisle Township and Amherst were all on scene along with Paramedics from LifeCare Ambulance and the medical team from Metro LifeFlight that is stationed at the airport.

Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol are on scene conducting the initial investigation.

The plane suffered heavy front-end damage trapping all victims inside of the aircraft.

The plane is resting on the west end of the airport property just a couple hundred yards east of the Oberlin Road fence line.
