RIGHT OR LEFT?

Elyria – No, it wasn’t Homer Simpson but someone working along Route 57 hanging signs made a Homer mistake Monday morning.

Workers installing signs on Route 57 in the westbound lane between North Abbe Road and Gulf Road hung a “HOSPITAL – NEXT RIGHT” sign on the side of the road. The sign was evidently meant to be posted in the eastbound lane between West River & Gulf.

TMC NEWS contacted Mayor Grace’s office, after getting the photo, and we were assured that the snafu would be corrected. Sure enough, by sunset the sign was taken down.
