TMC NEWS PHOTO / BRIAN WOODSElyria – Police are investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday afternoon at 164 Taft Street.
Police responded there after a man was reportedly shot in the chest inside of the home. Witnesses say that they saw a number of people run from the home just before Police arrived.
LifeCare Ambulance Paramedics responded to the scene and with the help of Elyria Firefighters treated and transported the man to Elyria Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

TO ALL THE CHILDREN THAT ARE LISTENING CHUCKIE WAS SOME ONES SON,BROTHER,UNCLE AND FRIEND.YES HE WAS A GREAT CHILD AND ALL OF U NEED TO RELIZE THAT LIFE ONLY COMES ONE TIME U ALL NEED TO THINK ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES THAT U HURT.
This is really a shame this CHILD had a long life and plenty of opportunity ahead of him... When will we learn that there is more outside these city limits to expirience? People aren't content with happiness, they need drama to entertain them. PARENTS NEED TO PLAY SOME ROLE IN A CHILDS LIFE..
