COLLISION AT CHESTNUT & 57
Eaton Township – One person was taken to Elyria Memorial with non-life threatening injuries Sunday night after a two-car crash in Eaton Township.
Trooper Toth of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred as Angela Buettner was traveling westbound on Chestnut from the Wal-Mart area and attempted to make a left turn onto Route 57. While making the left turn Buettner crashed into a Ford Escort driven by 40-year-old Norman Palider Jr., who was traveling east on Chestnut crossing 57 heading towards Wal-Mart.
Eaton Township Firefighters treated Palider for neck and back pains and transported him to Elyria Memorial hospital and no treated two others involved in the crash including Buettner.
Trooper Toth said that Buettner was charged with Failure to Yield while making a Left Turn.
