T-BONE CRASH IN CARLISLE TOWNSHIP

Carlisle Township – A two car crash Monday afternoon sent one driver to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash occurred around 1:40 p.m. in the intersection of West River and Russia Road in Carlisle after one car ran a stop sign and rammed into southbound car.

Carlisle Firefighters and LifeCare Paramedics treated the driver that was struck while the other driver refused treatment or transport.

Officials said that crashes in the intersection have decreased since the 4 way stop has been put in but say once in awhile you’ll have a driver who tries to sneak through and you end up with a crash like the one today.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

And, once again, we have to ask the question of what is so important that you can't afford 15 or 20 seconds to stop and look both ways before going through the intersection?
Thankfully no serious injuries and a quick response by Carlisle. Glad you didn't have to arrive at something that could have been much worse.
