FLOOD WARNING ISSUED

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a FLOOD WARNING for the Black River at Elyria until late Thursday night.

Flood stage begins at 9.5 feet for the Black River at Elyria, at 6 A.M. Wednesday morning and rising. The River is expected to rise above flood stage today and crest around 12.5 and 13 feet around midnight tonight.

Flooding begins in low-lying areas near the river in Elyria at 11.5 feet. Flooding begins south of Elyria in Carlisle Township at 9.5 feet.
