WOMAN AND SON INVOLVED IN CRASH
Elyria – An early morning crash in Elyria sends a woman and her 4 year old son to the Emergency Room.
The woman was driving eastbound on Route 57 between Gulf Road and North Abbe when her Ford Explorer went off the right side of the road and rolling over before coming to rest on its roof in a ditch. Elyria Firefighters and LifeCare Paramedics were able to extricate both without having to use the Jaws of Life.
Both victims were transported to Elyria Memorial Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
The Elyria Police Department is investigating the crash.

I wonder if she hit a pothole?
Well she may have hit a pothole as well but that stretch of 57 was a sheet of ice. I came thru there just after the accident happened.
Well now lets see, by the picture it looks like it happen at night and pothole's only come out during the day when the sun melts the ice and snow that fills them during the night.
Ops! guess it would of helped if I read the first part as it happen in the early morning...but the potholes where still sleeping.
