MICHAEL VICK IN THE DOGHOUSE

Michael Vick’s Attorney Billy Martin announced today that his client would be accepting a plea deal with Prosecutors. Martin, in a press release said, "Mr. Vick has agreed to enter a plea of guilty to those charges and to accept full responsibility for his actions and the mistakes he has made.”

Vick is expected to be back in Court Monday for sentencing where he could face anywhere from 1 to 5 years in a Federal Prison and fines that could exceed a quarter million dollars.

Three others charged along with Vick had already struck plea deals with Prosecutors in exchange for evidence against Vick.

The National Football League must now decide what to do with Vick since he will be taking the deal and pleading guilty.

The case against Vick began back in April when Investigators searched one of Vick’s homes for drugs and discovered 66 dogs and items normally used in dog fighting. The items included a “rape stand” that holds aggressive dogs in place for mating and a “breadstick” used to pry open a dog’s mouth. Until now, Vick has claimed he knew nothing about what went on at that residence claiming a cousin lived there and that he rarely visited. Prosecutors have claimed that dogs that lost fights were sometimes executed by hanging, drowning, electrocution or other vicious means.

In his statement Billy Martin said, “Michael wishes to apologize again to everyone who has been hurt by this matter.”

Good. It is not the dog, it is the owner. I can personally tell you that other dog bites DO NOT make the paper.

Two weeks ago I had a call for a husky mix that bit a teenager in the face and knocked a few teeth out. (as well as stitches) Didn't see that in the morning papers. As a 911 operator there are plenty that don't make the paper. (Our own dogs are bull terriers- not pits, but the spuds mackenzie dogs) are well trained and one is a therapy dog.

You get out to ANY pet what you put into it. click my name and watch a video of therapy dog at work. A pit. Helen Keller's dog was a pit,as was Petey from little rascals.

They do search and rescue & police work.

Michael Vicks dogs didn't deserve what they went thru, but there are many others.

Quite a change from 25 days ago when he was ready to go to court to prove his innocence in the whole matter. Gee, what a great example for fans everywhere, a liar and engaged in illegal activity. Maybe it's time for another great supportive statement from his good buddy Sanders!!

And speaking of rape stands, the rest of the good old boys in jail have one waiting for Michael Vick when he gets there!

this is one of many times that i wish i was a judge. if i was the judge in the michael vick case i would give him the maximum sentence allowed without even thinking twice. not for what he admitted doing but for his absolute stupidity and disregard for the law. dont get me wrong, i love animals to death but i am not one of these peta freaks who think an animals life is more valuble than a human beings.( thats another subject in it self) what michael vick did was cruel and disgusting and deserves the same type of punishment his "loser" dogs recieved but thats not why im so upset. from the time vick was in high school he has been fed with a silver spoon due to his athletic ability. he was given a full ride scholarship to viginia tech because he can run fast and throw a ball. he was a top 5 draft pick in the national football league and immediatly given millions of dollars to spend as he pleases. thousands of people went out and bought michael vick jerseys and lined his pockets with even more money. there was shoe deals and commercials. this guy was the 2nd highest paid player in the nfl. im not saying he didnt work hard to get where he was but he basically had the world by the balls and threw it all away. sure he'll probably be out of jail in a year and a half and pay a fine a $250,000 which is chump change to him but for the rest of his life he'll have to deal with how many people he let down. there are tons of little kids out there who wanted to be michael vick. who watched him every sunday and then went outside with their 7 jerseys on to play football with their friends. there are those people out there who spent their hard earned money on astronomically priced season tickets to see vick play. those are the things that i hope haunt the piss out of him. i hope he never plays again for the nfl. he doesnt deserve the lime light anymore. he threw that all away when he deceided to kill dogs for no reason. if the commisioner of the nfl has any sense he will ban him for life. the falcons as a team should go after him for any bonuses previously paid. its really sad when there are people out there struggling to pay their mortgages and feed their children. vick could have used his money to make others happy. do you have any idea how great it would be to have 100 million dollars and walk up to a family in need and say hey, let me take care of that mortgage for you. im not saying he shouldn't have had "fun" with his money but there were definetly better ways to go about it than dog fighting. instead he chose this. how sad and insecure of a man is he to have to torture animals for his own gain. did that make you feel like a BIG man. you are a piece of shit and i hope suffer the rest of your life.

vick is a cruel heartless person and he shall get what he deserves now. i hope they give him a long time to think about the atrocities he performed. and as far as playing football we'll see what happens when he gets out of the clink, but his soul is evil!
