BRIDGE COLLAPSE IN MINNEAPOLIS

BREAKING NEWS

A Major bridge collapse in Minneapolis Minnesota today during rush hour sends motorists into the water below and setting cars and tractor trailers on fire. The bridge, I-35 West, was shut down over the last weekend for repairs.

Homeland Security has issued a statement saying they do not believe this to be terrorist related rather some type of construction or engineering accident.

Rescue crews from all surrounding communities are converging on the area to assist in the rescue of the victims. Area hospitals said that they have been receiving critically injured victims already.

The collapse occurred at 6:10 p.m. central time during rush hour traffic. Officials say that cars were at a stand still on the bridge, slowed down due to construction.
