ABDUCTED CHILDREN FOUND SAFE

BREAKING NEWS
Less than 24 hours ago the Wooster Police Department and the State of Ohio sent out an Amber Alert searching for 3 young females after they were abducted by their mother. In the alert it was noted that the mother had threatened to commit suicide, increasing the urgency of finding the children.

Tonight the Ohio State Highway Patrol received a call tonight around 6pm stating that there was a woman hitch-hiking with her three small children Route 303 near the intersection of Indian Hollow Road in LaGrange Township. The caller, Kristen Lake, told the State Patrol Dispatcher that the woman appeared disoriented, did not know where she was, but did not want the help that was offered to her by Ms. Lake. When the Trooper arrived he found the woman standing at the edge of a driveway on 303. During a conversation with the children, it was revealed they were the victims of the Amber Alert issued yesterday by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department. The State Patrol turned the woman and her children over to the Lorain County Sheriff’s Department.

TMC NEWS learned that Lisa Wallace, the mother, parked the burgundy colored Sebring, which was described in the Amber Alert, in a garage of an unoccupied house a short distance away from where her and the children were discovered.

The State Patrol tells TMC NEWS that the children were unharmed.
