CRASH ON 57 TAKES DOWN LIGHT POLE

Elyria – A single car crash on Route 57 near WalMart took down a light pole and sent the driver to the hospital.

Police say 20 year old Ryan Farley of Grafton was traveling southbound on Route 57 between East Broad and Chestnut Ridge Road when he lost control of his car and went off the left side of the road striking and taking down a light pole.

Farley continued through the median and into the northbound lanes where his 2005 Chevy Cavalier came to rest.

Elyria Firefighters and LifeCare Paramedics treated Farley at the scene before transporting him to Elyria Memorial Hospital for further treatment.

Police charged Farley with Reasonable Control.
