According to WBNS-TV, the Life Ambulance vehicle involved in this crash was more than a decade old with nearly 350,000 miles and the emergency brakes did not work during a November inspection. If the investigation shows that the medical vehicle’s brakes were not maintained properly, then both the driver and the passenger’s families may have grounds for a wrongful death lawsuit as a result of the company’s negligence.
