OFFICER PETER SOTO BLOOD DRIVE
Avon – Family, friends and co-workers of Avon Police Officer Pete Soto invite you to participate in a BLOOD DRIVE held in his honor on Friday October 22nd from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Avon Police Department, in cooperation with LifeShare Community Blood Services and the Avon Y, is sponsoring a blood drive in honor of Avon Patrolman Pete Soto. Patrolman Soto was seriously injured on October 12 in a motorcycle crash while on duty and was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Following the accident, Soto needed blood that was donated from citizens like you.
Having been a blood donor for many years, Soto knows the importance of this event. Please come out and donate your blood to help the entire community, a cause that is dear to Soto’s heart and can help save countless lives.

The blood drive will be held at the Avon Y (The Y of Greater Cleveland, French Creek Branch), 2010 Recreation Lane, Avon, OH, 44011.
The Avon Y is next to All Pro Freight Stadium, near the interchange of SR 611 and I-90.
