Sheffield Village – Two people riding a motorcycle were seriously injured Saturday night after colliding with a car on North Abbe Road near Cobblestone.
Sheffield Village – Two people riding a motorcycle were seriously injured Saturday night after colliding with a car on North Abbe Road near Cobblestone.
Captain B.J. Huge of the Sheffield Village Fire Department said that initial reports indicate that the car turned into the path of the motorcycle sending the two riders off their Harley. “Our Firefighters were on scene quickly and recognized the seriousness of the injuries to both of the riders. They treated both and transported the driver of the bike first to Elyria Memorial Hospital.”
Police Officers who were first on scene had their Dispatch put LifeFlight on standby according to Huge, so they were at EMH about 5 minutes after the ambulance arrived with the victim.
The female passenger was transported by Avon Firefighters to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
The Sheffield Village Police Department is investigating the crash.
