CANDLELIGHT VIGIL PLANNED
Avon – The Avon Fire Department and the family of Firefighter Kevin Criss invite you to join them Wednesday night from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for a candlelight vigil as they remember Kevin.
Chief Frank Root said that the vigil will take place in front of the Fire Station at 36185 Detroit Road. “We have had such an outpouring of support from the community asking what they can do for us or if there will be a vigil planned since the news broke about Kevin. So with the blessing of the family we are inviting the community to join us as we remember our friend.”
Root said that the family will attend and he also encourages the community to place luminaries in their yards Wednesday night.
Anyone with questions about Wednesday night’s vigil are asked to call the Fire Station at 440.934.1212
