NO STEAK FOR YOU!
People who showed up at the Elyria Ponderosa were not reading any menu boards today; instead they were reading a CLOSED sign taped to the front door.The sign simply tells steak fans, “Closed, the Lorain Ponderosa still open.”

And also closed are the Brunswick, Wadsworth, and Waterloo Road locations. There is no information available anywhere, and someone should check to see if the Lorain location really is open. We bought a bunch of gift certificates from the radio station and now we have worthless scraps of paper.. their website, neoponderosa.com has no contact info that I could find at all. Nice of them to just shut down without a warning so people couldn't go get their money's worth out of these certificates.

poor elyria everything is sitting empty!
About time the health department closed down this nasty restaurant. Please don't try to get it reopened..they were serving very foul, old, and rotten food to patrons.
i sure loved their FREE steak tuesday, and they did have the best wings in Town!
