The crowd cheers!!!: as yet again TMCNEWS.NET is your news source leader in Lorain County. Someone give this guy a some gas money for all the running around he does. Thanks Again!!!
And the worst part is.....
Insurance won't cover it...
Never put your life in danger to save an animal..
And yes, thank you to TMC for being the ONLY news source in Lorain County!
I don't know kind of crap insurance you have...maybe Safe Auto, but insurance does cover the cost of repair if you have full coverage. But you are correct, it's always best to hit the deer or whatever animal runs in front of you.
Insurance certainly does cover it...happened to us last year, I-90 westbound in Elyria. Didn't swerve, luckily the deer was small. Car didn't make it, though. Nor the deer.
i am in the automotive business and there are some insurance companies out there that consider a deer collision an "act of god." i could be wrong but i believe my customer that ran into this situation (no pun intended) said he had nationwide insurance. there was about $1800 in damage and the isurance company didnt cover any of it. i called that day and checked my state farm policy to make sure i had coverage.
