WOMAN ROLLS VEHICLE

A woman traveling along Diagonal Road Tuesday afternoon lost control of her vehicle, crashing it in the 12000 block. The vehicle flipped over several times and came to a rest on its wheels only after striking a utility pole.

Carlisle Township Firefighters had to use the “Jaws of Life” to extricate the woman from the vehicle. Firefighters and LifeCare Paramedics treated the woman while Metro Life Flight landed at the scene to transport her to the Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland. Diagonal Road was closed in both directions for about an hour.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
