LORAIN POLICE OFFICER INDICTED

Turns himself in while wearing his uniform

Lorain Police Officer Jesus M. Sanchez was indicted yesterday and arrested this morning around 10am on 2 felony counts of Menacing by Stalking, a 4th Degree Felony. Since Sanchez had his duty weapon on him at the time of the alleged crime both counts carry a Firearms Specification.

Sanchez turned himself into authorities at the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office while in a Lorain Police uniform, a uniform that he has worn for almost 3 decades. Sanchez was released on $10,000.00 bond and was ordered to have “no contact whatsoever with the victim”.
