THIRD CRASH FOR LIFECARE
If you are superstitious and believe bad things come in threes, then that means LifeCare should be accident free now for a while. Crash number three occurred Tuesday afternoon on Gulf Rd near Elyria Catholic High School when a car rear-ended a LifeCare Ambulance returning to its station. The crewmembers and the occupants of the car that struck them were all ok at the scene requiring no medical assistance.
Elyria Police are investigating the crash.
REMINDER: This Friday is the "13th" so watch out for the black cats and all that other nonsense.

I think they need to send all the driver's for lifecare back to driving school. these driver's has a person's life in their hands.
To anonymous, you should note that in the first two crashes the other cars ran red lights and pulled in front of the ambulances. the third crash was a car that struck the ambulance from behind. In the first two crashes the video from the dash cam proved without a doubt that the paramedics driving had done nothing wrong. I TAKE OFFENSE TO THE COMMENT ABOUT "SENDING ALL THE DRIVERS FOR LIFECARE BACK TO DRIVING SCHOOL." I WAS THE DRIVER OF THE AMBULANCE FOR THE FIRST ACCIDENT LAST MONDAY. I WAS VERY CAUTIOUS AND EVEN SLOWED DOWN AT THE INTERSECTION PRIOR TO APPROACH (JUST LIKE I WAS TAUGHT IN LIFECARE'S DRIVING SCHOOL WHEN I WAS HIRED HERE.) UNFORTUNATELY, A WOMAN DECIDED TO GET BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A CAR AND SPEED THROUGH THE INTERSECTION WHILE RUNNING A RED LIGHT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL WITH NO DUE REGARD TO ANYONE OR ANYTHING THAT STOOD IN HER WAY. I AM ACTUALLY KIND OF GLAD THAT SHE MET MY VEHICLE ( A FORD SERIES E350 DIESEL TRUCK) AND NOT SOME YOUNG KID OR INNOCENT BYSTANDER TAKING THEIR DOG FOR A NIGHTLY WALK. EVERY DAY I GET INTO THAT AMBULANCE TO GO ON A CALL I PRAY THAT I GET TO SEE MY BEAUTIFUL YOUNG DAUGHTER WHEN I COME HOME THE NEXT MORNING. THAT STUPID LADY THAT NIGHT COULD HAVE SHATTERED MY DAUGHTER'S LIFE AND MANY OTHERS AS WELL. I AM NOT JUST "AN AMBULANCE DRIVER", I AM A PARAMEDIC, NURSING STUDENT, MOTHER, DAUGHTER, SISTER, GIRLFRIEND, FRIEND TO MANY PEOPLE. I HAVE TOUCHED MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES OUT THERE DOING MY JOB AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE TOUCHED MINE. BUT, PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO ARE UNEDUCATED TO THE FACT OF THIS BUSINESS NEED TO GO TO SCHOOL. WE ARE ONLY HUMAN AND HAVE NO CONTROL OVER OTHER PEOPLE'S ACTIONS. PLEASE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR COMMENT AND COME DOWN TO LIFECARE AND READ OUR DRIVING POLICY HANDBOOK AND SIT THROUGH OUR DRIVING COURSE.

If vehicles are getting rammed by intoxicated drivers or hit from behind sitting at a traffic light how could that be the fault of the VICTIM... yes victim.. Moron.. I AGREE WITH BRUCE, THE PERSON WHO SAID THE LIFECARE PEOPLE SHOULD GO BACK TO DRIVING SCHOOL IS AN F'N IDIOT. I AM TYPING ALL IN CAPS IN SUPPORT OF NINA HOWEVER BECAUSE I THINK SHE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS IF SHE WANTS TO.I AM GLAD YOU ARE OK NINA AND THANK YOU FOR THE WORK THAT YOU DO.
