2012 TORCH RUN A SUCCESS

The 2012 Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics traveled through Lorain County Monday morning and about 50 Lorain County Officers and LCCC Police Cadets made the 5 mile run for a great cause.

The runners made their way from Sandy Ridge through North Ridgeville where they picked up a LCCC Cadet Class and finished up at Black Dog Pub & Eatery at Sugar Ridge Road and Avon Belden Road.

Sgt. Vince Abt of the North Ridgeville Police Department helped organize the runners and said this year was a success and that he is happy to see that it continues to grow each year.
