Elyria – An Elyria man was arrested late Tuesday night after he reportedly slammed his 2008 Grand Am into the back of a parked on Oak Street.
Police say 29 year old Thomas Blaylock of High Street in Elyria lost control of his car while traveling west on Oak Street and struck a parked car. That car was then pushed into another parked car causing damage to both. Witnesses say Blaylock then backed up and drove away. Police were able to locate Blaylock several blocks away in the 400 block of High Street. Blaylock’s car was parked in his driveway with a damaged front end.
Police took Blaylock into custody and transported him to the Lorain County Jail where he was refused because of his intoxicated state so he was then taken to Elyria Memorial.
Blaylock was charged with Reasonable Control and OVI.
