COUNCILMAN STUNG IN STING
Lorain – Lorain Police Officers arrested Lorain Councilman Dennis Flores late Friday night after Flores solicited a prostitute. The prostitute ended up being an undercover Police Officer working a sting operation at Reid & West 18th Street. Lorain and Elyria Police Officers were conducting the operation.Flores was charged with Solicitation and Driving Under the Influence. Flores has publicly said he is sorry for what has happened and apologized to the citizens of Lorain, other Councilmen and the city Administration. Flores called the incident a “momentary lapse of judgment.”
Flores, who has been on council for only 5 months and is a co-chair of the Police and Fire committee, was booked into the new city jail and released on bail.

"momentary lapse of judgement"...and he is sorry??? He, like any other man, is only sorry "after" he is caught with his pants around his ankles. Gee was he thinking this is "not good judgement" when he was doing his dirty little deed??? Nope..just when he got caught!!!! A tyical politician...
people with no integrity make lapses of judgment all the time. That's how you tell them from those who have integrity.
Gotta love that "I'm sorry for my momentary lapse" excuse. What he really meant to say was:
"I'm sorry I got caught."
"I'm sorry it was an undercover cop and not a real prostitute."
"I'm sorry this made the news."
and
"I'm sorry the voters may remember this when election time comes around."
Maybe one of the police officers can show him how to find "integrity" in a dictionary so at least he'll know what it is. We can only hope!
