Yes we were there around that time. Why do 20 cops show up after a stabbing? Why not have some of them patrolling beforehand to PREVENT the stabbing.
I'm sure the police couldn't have a vision of the stabbing, but a more consistent presence may have prevented it. I have never been to Harry Buffalo...do they have a liquor license? If so, why would and establishment that serves alcohol be located in the mall? Something seems wrong with that!
Here we go, Another idiot who wants to make choises for us, Take the liquor license away. run the rest of the people out of the mall, maybe we should put guards at the mall with M-16s.

No no vision here. The point I was driving at was proactive patrolling as opposed to reactionary policing. Hope that sentence is not too tough for you to digest. Take it bit by bit. And yes Harry Buffalo serves alcohol and so does Tokyo Grill right next door.
Everyone wants more Police, Fire and EMS but nobody wants to foot the bill. These departments are the first to get cut when the money is low, and the public doesn't want to hear about another tax. These departments do the best with what they got. The last thing they want to hear after doing their best is a judgmental know-it-all standing on his or her soap box telling us how we need to do it better. Go put in a shift at any one of these departments then tell us how much you think you know how to protect a city.
Thanks for the complement Anon. Are you a cop? May I ride with you? I would like to find out.
Sure come on in, but I doubt you have the stones.
The ghetto of elyria had a stabbing? NO? If six guys had stabbed someone behind value city no one would have anything to say, but because it finally has spilled over to a crowded place during the day everyone wants to throw in there two cents.
Nice thought but "roman" is too busy with his full time finger pointing job to help the cause. Instead he would rather blame other. He's the type that needs people to take care of him because he can't take care of himself.
Roman is what you call a "telephone tuff guy". He's got a spine as long as it's through a computer. You're right...no stones.
Does "roman" have a last name?
Yeah....helmet! LOL
Roman, if you are serious about doing a ride along with a police department, all you have to do is go down to the department and ask. There are also auxiliary officers for Lorain PD and the Sheriff's Office. The opportunities are there. Step up.
I thought Midway Mall was the ghetto?
It is the ghetto along with the other ninety percent of Elyria
We have done so much with so little for so long, we are now qualified to do almost anything with nothing at all
Does Roman have a name - this coming from an anonymous poster. Click my name to link to my site. If you are an Elyria cop yes please let's go for a ride. Or please call me 216/533/0027. Geez. Don't have the stones.... Whatever happened to a thoughtfull discussion.
216 area code. Does Roman even live in Lorain County?
"romans" link is to a "business" web site. No stones.
I didn't know "thoughtful discussion" was another word finger pointing.
Click on About. And yes I live in Lorain. This is an immature site. I think I will just go back to The WoM Blog. Much more thoughtful discussion. Let me know how I can reach you as well Mr. Anonymous.
His website is vague as "roman". You're right, no stones!
Next time you see a police officer, fireman or EMT you can just thank us Mr."Roman" that would be the mature thing to do.
Yes you are right. No stones Love you all.
