BUTTERNUT RIDGE ROAD HOUSE FIRE

UPDATE
Eaton Township Fire Department received their call just after 3pm Tuesday afternoon when a neighbor living across the street saw smoke and flames coming from the roof. Heavy black smoke could be seen for miles as the Firefighters arrived on scene on Butternut Ridge Road east of Durkee Road. Nobody was in the home at the time of the fire; it is believed that the family is on vacation in Florida.

Mutual aid arrived from Carlisle, Columbia and LaGrange Fire Departments with Firefighters and tankers. No injuries have been reported.
