EMH & THE NEW YORK TIMES

The New York Times reports today that Medicare patients at Elyria Memorial Hospital receive angioplasties at a rate just about four times the national average. Nobody has accused Elyria Memorial of any misconduct but the numbers have peeked the interest of Medicare and at least one medical insurer.
