MAN SHOT AT BEEBE STREET HOME

Elyria – An Elyria man was shot in the back on Beebe Street in Elyria early Monday morning has been flown to Cleveland.


Elyria Police were called to the 100 block of Beebe after a teenager called to say their dad had been shot. While responding Officers were told that the suspect had fled the scene.

LifeCare Paramedics and Elyria Firefighters treated the man at the scene for a gunshot wound to his back. He was then transported to Elyria Memorial Hospital where he was flown a short time later to Cleveland.


Police Detectives were called out to begin their investigation into the shooting. The initial description of the suspect given to Police was a black male.
